Als je nu je PS3 aan zet zul je merken dat er een nieuwe firmware beschikbaar is, namelijk versie 3.56 Geen nieuwe functies dit keer, maar slechts een poging van Sony om iets te doen aan alle hacks/jailbreaks/homebrew/custom firmware/etc. Â Downloaden hoeft niet, maar is wel vereist om in te kunnen loggen op PSN.
